If you live in an apartment in West Columbia, SC you can enjoy numerous fun fall events this weekend around town. Here are just a few:
Fall Festival: 4-9 p.m. Friday at the North Columbia Food Park, 2720 Main St. The event will feature vendors, arts and crafts, games, food, plants, entertainment, face painting, pumpkin patch, scarecrow contest and more.
Movie Under the Stars: 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday at Sesquicentennial State Park, Watch Marvel Comic movies under stars including “Spider-Man,” “Captain America” and “Ghost Rider.”
Cayce Hall of Horrors: Oct. 3-Nov. 1 at 1153 Walter Price St. The haunted attraction has been in operation more than three decades. New this year, Xperiment13, an Experimental Hospital attraction. Hours are 7:30-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 6:30-9 p.m. Sundays and 6:30-10 p.m. Oct. 23 and 30.
Deceased Farm Murder and Maze: Tickets on sale 7:30 p.m., tours start at dark. This attraction runs every Friday and Saturday through Nov. 1 and every Thursday starting Oct. 16 Deceased Farm has two complete haunted houses surrounded by a two-acre haunted corn maze.
Dark Knight Terror Trail: Open at 7 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays until Nov 1. The attractions available include an outdoor trail, a traditional indoor haunted house and a Zombie Zone.
Oktoberfest Columbia: October 11 - October 13 at 3005 Devine Street, Friday-Saturday: 11am - 10pm; Sunday: 12-6pm. Holy Schnitzel! Oktoberfest Columbia offers authentic German food, beer and fun, right smack in the middle of Devine Street. Activities for the kids, real oompah bands, and delicious food and pastries. Grab a stein and let us fill it up with craft Oktoberfest beers.
Witch's Night Out: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Ladies Night Thursday at Deceased Farm. Attendees will be treated to refreshments from The Farmer’s Shed and Krafty Draft Brew Pub, entertainment by DJ Ronny Lane, early and unlimited access to all of the Deceased Farm haunted attractions. Witches’ costumes and/or hats are encouraged, there will be contests and prices.
